Mga bunganga ng bulkan

Let's get this straight, people.

Taal Volcano is a complex volcano with 47 craters.

Here are more facts about Taal Volcano:

It is a volcano within a lake - making it a volcano island

It is a volcano island with a lake inside it called Crater Lake

The Crater Lake has an island called Vulcan Point

It has 47 craters, cones, and maars

Binintiang Malaki, the one mistaken as the taal volcano, (the most frequently photographed "volcano"), is actually one of the craters of the complex volcano - it erupted in 1707, 1709, and 1729

The other craters apart from the main crater and Binintiang Malaki are Mt. Ragatan, Mt. Pirapiraso (erupted in 1731), Mt. Taal, Mt. Tabro (erupted in 1965-1970, 1976, and 1977), Mt. Mataasnagulod, and Mt. Tibag - there are also underwater craters

That's why the smoke, ash, and lava are not coming from the Binintiang Malaki. The explosion is probably coming from the other craters of the Taal volcano such as Tabro, or the main craters.
